We’ve been there ourselves. Having served over 250 couples over the past 10 years, we know that there are several things of importance: that you remain stress-free, that you have the most fun, that you can trust us as both friends + professionals, and that you walk away from this entire experience feeling joyful, happy, and completely in-love. We thought it would be helpful to walk you through our process, step by step, and help answer any questions you may have right here.
You have checked us out online and you like what you see so you’re ready to meet us! YAY. Let’s chat! Taylor is the head of communications and you can expect a response from her within 24-48 hours. We love FaceTime/Zoom/Skype calls with our couples so we can connect with both of you! We want to get to know you two and how we can best serve you both. We will answer any questions and concerns with you on the call, keeping your wedding and love story in mind. If you love everything about Whole Heart Studios and can picture us right there with you on your wedding day... we will get you guys booked and ready to go! It really is that simple and we keep it real.
We’ll touch base with you often. We will be working on the back end by sending you questionnaires so we are fully aware of all the ins and outs of your wedding day. If you’ve booked us for your wedding photography we will schedule your engagement session! When the time comes, we will work together to create your wedding photography and/or videography timeline, general and family photo shot lists, and go over some of our favorite wedding day tips so that you are prepped and ready to go!
Your big day is HERE! Once we get to your venue, we will do a quick unload + setup and then run to wherever you two are to give you a big hug! Your day will go perfectly and you will LOVE IT. Also know that here at Whole Heart Studios we pride ourselves on being included but not intrusive on your wedding day… We will be busy capturing every joyful tear, the big laugh, the many hugs, and each and every moment of love we witnessed throughout your wedding day. We love celebrating with you!
When your big day has come to an end and you run off into the sunset… we will be making magic! We are as quick as possible to get sneak peeks over to you to keep the excitement going! Don’t be super surprised if you get a few texts from us about on things are coming along. When we are really excited we can’t help but share it with you!

do you travel?
Is Earth a planet? YES! We love to travel and while we do call home Virginia, we find it very important to mention that we do and will travel to the ends of the Earth for a great love story. We love this life so much that we have made the commitment to not charge for travel within the United States. If you are interested in International wedding please let us know the details and we are happy to create a custom wedding package for you including travel.
Can we book you for only a few hours?
Knowing that we capture legacies and that besides your marriage, one of the few remaining aspects of your wedding day to carry on with you throughout your life is your wedding photography, we always recommend that your ensure the coverage of your entire wedding day. However, if you are needing coverage for less than 8 hours, we can absolutely accommodate you. Please inquire for a custom quote. We also offer custom pricing for elopements and destination weddings that include travel.
how much do you edit your photos?
It is our pleasure to ensure that your wedding photos are given the time and attention of an artist retouch while remaining true to the nature of your day with color-correction, light enhancing, and/or any cropping necessary. Our artistic style of photography and videography is as shown throughout the Whole Heart Studios website and portfolio.
Wedding Albums are an incredible keepsake to commemorate your day, becoming one of the first heirlooms and an integral part of the retelling of your legacy. While albums are not included in our basic packages, we believe in preserving what you wish to protect! Our albums are expertly designed and handcrafted to last for generations to come. Inquire for album design.
do you provide albums?
Our standard photo + video package includes 2 photographers and 2 videographers, 8 hours of fun wedding day coverage, an online digital gallery with printing rights, a 60-second teaser trailer, and a 5-7 minute highlight film. A perfect package! We also provide flash drives for all of our clients. We love that our couples take us up on the offer to customize their packages to their one-of-a-kind unique wedding day needs, so we’ll break down the average per category. Our photography only clients typically add an engagement session to their package. Our videography only clients typically add the Documentary Edit to their package. Our Photo + Video Clients love adding both Documentary Edit and Engagement Session to their package.

Absolutely! We love capturing love stories, whether by videography or photography and offer either as standalone services or together. We also make sure that we work WITH the fellow photographer or videographer that you have hired to ensure a seamless, stress-free, and creative day of capturing your love! Our main focus is always you + your loved ones.
